About Sameer Salmani HAIRLOUNGE & Academy

My journey as a hairstylist began under the guidance of my father, a skilled barber. However, I always dreamed of becoming a renowned professional in the industry.

At the age of 10, I took a bold step and moved to Mumbai in 2000. With no prior knowledge of city life, I navigated this new chapter on my own. I joined my cousin brother's barbershop, where I earned a modest salary of Rs. 500 per month. Yet, this wasn't the life I envisioned for myself.

My turning point came in 2004 when I met a mentor who became like a father figure to me. Under his guidance, I honed my skills and learned valuable lessons about professionalism and personal growth.

Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working with national and international brands. However, my true passion lies in working with salons. In February 2020, I embarked on a new journey, launching my own 400 sq. ft. salon and academy, 'Sameer Salmani The Artist Salon and Academy.'

Despite facing numerous challenges, including the lockdown, I persevered and continued to work towards my dream. Today, I'm proud to have upgraded to a luxurious 1600 sq. ft. salon and academy, boasting an international ambiance.
